So....if you havent't already heard...I'm pregnant! I went to the doctor today and I am 9 weeks, 5 days. I had a sonogram and we got to see the little guy/girl! We saw the little heartbeat flutter and they measured the beats per minute at 166 so all is well. The only glitch is that they found an ovarian cyst. Apparently it is quite common with pregnancies and it may dissolve on its own but if it's not gone by my next appointment then it is likely that some kind of surgical procedure will be done to remove it. John and I are VERY excited and happy! Here's the little peanut!

YAY! Congratulations!!!
Allison! That's fantastic news. I can't wait to congratulate you myself in person.
P.S. I had a cyst show up at an early sonogram like yours and it was gone by the next one. Hope that's the case with yours as well.
At this point, it is clear to me that "Peanut" resembles John. Our thoughts and "warm" prayers are with you (all three of you!).
Love you guys and miss you,
PaPa Ballard
